Kerem Başarır

Professor Kerem Başarır, MD, currently works as an orthopedic surgeon at his private clinic in Ankara. His clinical focus is primary and revision total knee and hip replacement and orthopedic oncology together with complex reconstructive cases.

He has published more than 50 peer reviewed articles including well known journals including JBJS (Am), JBJS (Br), Clinical Orthopedics and Related Research; J. Arthroplasty and Int Orthopedics. He gained associate professorship in the Ankara University Medical School in 2013. His research includes all clinical arthroplasty science, as well numerous basic science studies in the complete field of orthopedics and orthopedic oncology. He has been an active instructor of the national arthroplasty, orthopedic oncology associations and given lectures at all relevant meetings in Turkey. He is also a board member of Turkish National Orthopedic Association.
